One of the freshest disks Ive heard in some time. Ironic given that it is pretty much a

straight forward rewind to 80s cheese wave circa Human League or Bronski Beat. Something about

this flame-headed Frenchie though makes it seem like the new wave genre is emerging in 2010

rather than recalling its heyday 30 years earlier.

At the end of the day, the songs on this disk are still pop-laden new wave but a worthy listen

should the mood strike you. The opener "In for the Kill" gets your attention right away and

becomes more infectious with each listen. "Quicksand" is another standout for me.
