Solace's stellar debut "Further" was always a bit out of reach for them to top, and in turn I always felt they deferred to just amping it up to replace some of the missing soulful element. A.D. initially comes off as just that, but then this stuff starts to kick you in the peskies and you begin to pay attention. It is in fact a wickedly good heavy album in its own right.
