The Deep Breath. I was worried about this CD, you know years of build up - so many expectations. In the end this CD is a force in it's own right, for speed/thrash metal. Is it as good as Possessed by Fire, not out of the box for me, the production and maturity have smoothed the raw timing breaks and the hey mom we just finished recording our CD in the garage sound. What it has though is still great Exumer pained vocals, riffs that are just amazing and solos that seem to reach from the depths of hell to drag you in. I love this disc, and if you are looking for a throwback thrash style sound with some modern feel this is the one. Damn fine upload.
Can't say Exumer has been at the top of my thrash playlist throughout the years but this is a fine release. A New Morality is my jam of choice on this one.
