Silversun Pickups - Neck of the Woods from DJLonz

Have certainly been anxiously awaiting the next release from Silversun Pickups. First impression is that it lacks some of the ferocity of Swoon with nary a vocal scream to be found on this release. Get past that initial letdown and what you will find is a very strong alternative rock record that stands on its own and should not have to be viewed as a follow-up to its predecessor. All the tracks are good or better than good with Simmer and Dots and Dashes being among those I am playing the most often.
