Monte has taken a peculiar route to get to this point, i'm glad he did. This disc was produced by Rasmussen of ..And Justice For All and Master of Puppets. Monte came along through bands such as Madonna, and Prong, two diametrically opposed styles clearly. I stumbled on this on Sirius with a song called A Dark Horse came on and it was a riffing / thrashy get down. Spinning through the disc you come across Before The Mourning Sun, and it carries some great riffing, with some hints of Metallica / Prong, not overtly so but you can pick the similarities. I really enjoyed this one.
