If Moodymann is going to be represented on The Port, it would be an injustice to house music not to have his first release represented. Widely considered a landmark house record, Moodymann spins up some seriously deep house while injecting his pro Detroit and black power rants throughout. I have been a long time fan of I Can't Kick This Feelin' When It Hits with its mesmerizing baseline and silky house beats. This is a fine house record and great example of the Detroit house and techno sound.
