To say this release has been highly anticipated in my little corner of the metal universe would be an understatement. Ever since their so-close-to-the-level-of-BMTH 2012 release, This Is the Six, I've been waiting to see what these Sheffield boys can deliver as a follow-up. And deliver they do, thankfully bucking the trend of so many mediocre follow-ups. This new release is ultra high energy metalcore with endless amounts of sing-along choruses and a tireless wiry guitar working the whole way through. Gives me questionable visions of a rugby team circle pit, hoisting the frosty mugs up high and singing along in drunken unison.

It's only March but I'm really liking While She Sleeps chances for metal album of the year. Certainly will be among the top contenders when it's all said and done. Skeptical?
