Someone was talking up Puscifer the other day and I didn't realize it was another Maynard (Tool) project. This has got the proggy trimmings of A Perfect Circle but I find it a touch more happening, probably due to the stand out bass. Overall, the album would fair better if the energy of the title shot was a bit more pervasive throughout.
