The Avatar has it going on - you can pick out the influences, got the gothic cabaret thing going along with a touch of System interchanged with groove growls and prog. And of course they are playing at the Fuel Room...today - damn the concert gods! and whoever opted to drop a venue in Libertyville.

Definitely liking the earlier work better than this. Still some bright spots for me in New Land but gets a little too proggy and artsy in others.
