Hard to believe these boys are still at it and managing to stay somewhat relevant. This record is pretty much what I would expect but it is saved and then some by the endless guitar shredding. Several of the songs have potential but some up short with a lame chorus or cheesy lyrics and can't just seem to put it all together. But just as you're ready to write it off, in comes the shredding guitar that manages to cover up most of the shortcomings. When it's all said and done, Ballad of the Left Hand Gun is the track that will make it to the American Muscle playlist.
