Khemmis - Absolution from DJLonz

Setting up Khemmis' new 2018 release by highlighting their solid 2015 debut, Absolution. I get excited when I read things like a stonier Pallbearer and bluesy guitar riffs. I can definitely hear these influences and the song writing is interesting but the vocals are a bit uninspiring. Needs a healthy dose of suicidal despair or some must-feed-the-hunger evil to take this record to the next level.
