Mani Deum piqued my interest on the genre-mashing Siva Six remix showcased on last night's IWR release. Low and behold, they end up being a gaggle of Greeks churning out a vintage gothic Americana sound. This album has the proper storytelling and picker/fiddle vibe. If the vocals were just a touch more dynamic, the marks would be even higher. Gotta love connecting the dots on this stuff.
