This is the second offering from Sweet Oblivion that features Geoff Tate but swapped out some of the other members. It is obvious that the band was built to showcase Tate and produce sounds that resemble the Empire era of Queensryche. I loved the S/T first disc and this disc follows the same formula, which I am ok with. Tate sticks with the part of his range that still works and he sounds great in that range.
