I debated putting this one up as it is pretty whacked... but yet I continue to listen. Sunn O))) epitomizes dark demonic sludge on this release but does so in a calm, almost symphonic manner. Could this be Post Sludge? Interesting use of brass horns and timely bell tolls add to the summoning of the beast. At the very least, consider it good Halloween fodder.
