I'm compelled to round out the Ensiferum collection, because I say damn! what a show that was on Saturday. We have never seen Reggies this insanely packed with full-on fists-in-the-air chant-along uber-fans. So there would seem to be a Finnish Folk Metal cult following in Chicago...who knew? Well, Ensiferum did and wow did they deliver. I know its not everyones bag, but this album is a good representation of the show. During the acoustic strumming of Ferrum Aeternum, you were damn near counting on Conan to come riding in with a battle axe. "Lai Lai Hei" sums up the Ensiferum experience, you don't have to be from Scandinavia to figure out how to chant that one!
