The Diary - Page One from DJBertman

DJBertman posted The Diary - Page One on 03/15

No one told Claude S. that his emotions were never meant to be recorded, and lucky for us, they were! This album by the lead singer of Anything Box is an aural sad-joy-ride through the days of Bauhaus and Joy Division, and it even features a cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart.

This album also marks the begining of the changes that were to sweep Anything Box into their new Elektrodelic period. Some people call this the hidden Abox album.

You decide.

This is a great disc for those that follow Anything Box. It goes without saying that Anything Box is not for everyone; however frontman Claude S. brings raw emotion to the group and further breaks it down in his solo effort The Diary. He is definately one of those frontmen that broke out of his genre, in effort to redefine himself and his music. A-box has a huge south side of Chicago following and are a staple to any underground club mix.
