Welcome to the world of murder ballads, bottom shelf whiskey and a splash of satan comfort. This here comp is the result of hanging with the American Pickers in Iowa at the Picker Fest. Partied with Mike Wolf and Danielle from the History Channel show. Drank some local brew and watched a few dark country bands at their finest. This dlonz summer of 2011 comp. takes you on a dark country ride while infusing some of the pioneers of grit into the hayride. Grab the cheapest beer you ccan get your hands on, get the grill going, and sweat in the sun. Enjoy!

Hot diggity that Venom cover is saweeet! I'll have the whole neighborhood foot stompin to that one.
Dig what we caught at our local concerts in the park last night - http://www.specialc.com/, these boys were kick'n out the bluegrass proper!
Now back to the Venom, ahhh those lyrics...they just don't write em like that anymore "Look out...beware, when the moon is full and bright, in every way I'm there, in every shadow in the night..eeevil in league with Satan..."
They sure don't write lyrics like that anymore...Jerry Reed would agree...."The boys are thirsty in Atlanta...and there is beer in Texarkana!"
Goddamn Gallows...crooners of "In League with Satan" are set to be at Reggies rockhouse, on the joint side 7/23.
