Interesting find here. The Year of Our Lord is a U.S. band out of New England that plays melodic death metal in the Gothenburg style that I absolutely crave. As a matter of fact, Dead to You could easily be mistaken for a Dark Tranquillity record sans any DT clean vox breakdowns. All the tracks are good MDM offerings but I'll knock the record as a whole for lacking in variety. I'd have to listen to this record 2 dozen times before I could name-that-tune. That said I am kinda partial to The Gones of Astria, Eventide and the gothic piano of Nightlark.
