ISIS - Oceanic from DJLonz

We got our first glimpse of ISIS on The Port several years ago with their 2009 release Wavering Radiant. It would seem they disbanded after that but their older releases have a very dedicated fanbase on the internet. Oceanic is revered by the jugheads at AMG who anoint it with the coveted 5-star crown. No doubt it is their watershed post-metal sludge moment but I think I like the more atmospheric grooves of 2004's Panopticon even better. Still, you can't go wrong with these epic sludgefests and the building crescendos in From Sinking stir my destructive tendencies.
