Awolnation - Run from DJLonz

Had to listen to this one a couple of times to appreciate what it has to offer. First time is just to see which track takes the Sail crown on this album. Sad to say none of them measure up to that level of brilliance but that's really no surprise, right? So get past that and soak in what this album does have to offer, a few morsels of synthpop goodness trapped in a fairly bland wrapper. Hollow Moon seems to be getting the most airplay. It's good synthpop fare with a sweet mid-track breakdown that delivers the Awolnation anger that we're looking for. Dreamers and Windows are two more that will straddle the alternative and electronic playlists.
