Hard rockin' side project from Zakk Wylde delivering all the bombastic shredabilly you'd expect. Several keepers in the lineup with Horse Called War topping the way to my American Muscle playlist. At the end of the day though, 19 tracks is just a bit much to take in one sit down. A lot of folksy, bluegrass filler could probably make a record of its own but seems to disrupt the rhythm of this release. There are a few covers toward the end including some blazing fretwork on Zeppelin's In My Time of Dyin' and a creative take on the Beatles' Come Together.
