Here we have King Diamond before he was King Diamond, fronting the band Black Rose. Tremendous classic late 70's sound. The music is very raw, the vocals are distant, with only hints of operatic capability strewn throughout. There are some very good tunes on it with the 2nd tune being my fav. I'd highly recommend creating a 'First Born' playlist and throwing this in with other notable firsts, Killing is My Business, Fistful of Metal, Into Glory Ride, some Lonesome Crow, some early Priest, early Sabbath, so on and so forth. Crank it up and revel in the rawness.
