One of the lesser heralded Lonzport genres, the Funk setlist is sure to please like a summer breeze. Eddie Hazel needed a little company and Stone Coal White fits the bill with the coolest name on the scene. This album is every bit of raw that you would expect from a low-budget 1971 production, but damn it is infectious with nary a weak track. The wah wah lyrical combo on Hell Below is straight out of a Black Panther rally. Also didn't realize that 'Aint No Sunshine' (introduced to the Port from Zakk Wylde) is a well-covered number that gets equal justice here.
